PARACHUTE WITH BRYNN ELLIOT AND JERAD FINCK
When they were in high school, members of the indie pop rock band Parachute spent afternoons in vocalist Will Anderson’s basement, working on songs that proved their appreciation of classic pop, rock and soul. Now, after a decade of touring internationally, the band has hit a stride with a string of hits — “She is Love” and “Can’t Help” — paving the way to success. The band will make a stop in Milwaukee to promote a fourth album Wide Awake, made to return to their roots and reclaim the spirit they had when they first started creating songs. With the hooks “Without You,” “What Side of Love” and “Love Me Anyway,” it shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans — old and new — that the energy on the tracks is easily matched onstage.
