Milwaukee Ballet: ‘Scheherazade’ and ‘Angels in the Architecture’ — Oct. 20 to 23
Milwaukee Ballet opens its 2016–17 season with the return of Kathryn Posin’s Scheherazade and Mark Godden’s Angels in the Architecture. The contrasting double bill is set to the scores of Rimsky-Korsakov and Copland played live by the Milwaukee Ballet’s orchestra. Each performance features pre-show activities, including talks with both productions’ choreographers, the Milwaukee Ballet’s orchestra conductor and a performance from Tamarind Tribal Belly Dance (check website for pre-show activity days and times).
